I’m Thankful

I’m thankful for everything I have, everything I’ve been given, everything I’ve lost and everything that’s been taken away.  As tough as this life is, there are people along the way that I’ve met I would have never met, experiences I would have never experienced, hardships I could never see myself pulling through, love I’ve never experienced, lessons I never would have learned before my accident and a deep interest about what life is and what we’re supposed to do with it, especially my own.  I have my ups and downs, but they’ve all been trending upward lately.  Life is too short to be anything but happy.

We are following your progress every day at Kennedy Kreiger and are so impressed with your determination and your positive attitude. Have you noticed the cute therapists that are working with you? Ha! Ha! We are so proud of you and love you always. Keep up the good fight. You are always in our thoughts and prayers.

Aaron, once again I am inspired. Those of us who can see beyond our problems, and are thankful for each day and the blessings that come(even the ones that we need to stop and think and search for) are the truly blessed in life. Your journey is taking you far above and beyond the physical, to the spirtual and intellectual sides of life. I have seen first hand the magnificent journey my brother Donald took with his cancer, how it made him see beyond the problem and enrich his life and change it, help him grow and love life and the world more than he ever stopped and thought about. Thank you for these videos, they enrich me, lift me up, make me smile and be more grateful everyday. I continue to pray for a full recovery for you, but I think you have recovered already in more ways than you thought possible. Love to you, your cousin in Boston.

There has been a short “silence” lately which made me think that maybe you are quite down. And then I check your blog and there it is! A brand new post! Exactly the opposite of what I had in mind! You made my day, my week, my month, my year(s)! (No exaggeration, trust me!!)

    I wholeheartedly thank you.
    😀
