Well, we thought\u00a0Aaron was so tired from spending 30 hours off the ventilator; that may have been part of the reason for his tiredness, but I don’t believe it was the total reason.\u00a0\u00a0After a chest Xray today, we found out Aaron has pneumonia again.\u00a0\u00a0Obviously, this isn’t the best news we’ve had, BUT there are many things to be thankful for.\u00a0 As I told Aaron, this bout of pneumonia\u00a0is being\u00a0addressed and medicated so much earlier than the last\u00a0time he had it.\u00a0 He had a very high fever last time;\u00a0 this time he doesn’t (as least so far).\u00a0 He doesn’t feel\u00a0poorly\u00a0like he did the last time, he’s just really tired.\u00a0 As long as he can be treated successfully at Select, he won’t have to be transported to\u00a0the hospital, like he did the last time, when he ended up having to go to Hahnemann.\u00a0\u00a0Yep, many things to be grateful for.\u00a0 So that’s what we are going to focus on;\u00a0 the positives, not the negatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Aaron\u00a0had many visitors today and he didn’t sleep through one of their visits!\u00a0 Jaime was the first visitor, then her mom showed up\u00a0(which was really a great surprise to Aaron as she lives near Philadelphia and her visit was not in the least expected – thanks, Sue!), then I showed up and the party started.\u00a0 (No, not really, but it sounded good.)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Later in the day Aunt Den came,\u00a0 Jaime left for the day and then\u00a0the Wood family\u00a0arrived (Mammaw, Pappaw, Aunt Diane, Uncle Pete and Aunt Barb).\u00a0 Aunt Den and I skipped out of Select for a little while so Aaron could visit with his family.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0When I returned to Select alone (Aunt Den went home), I was parking my car and\u00a0saw Terry and Candy in the parking lot.\u00a0 When the three of us\u00a0 got to Aaron’s room, the Woods were preparing to leave, so Terry, Candy and I\u00a0 visitied with Aaron for a while.\u00a0 So, as you can see, there were visitors pretty much all day for Aaron…..and even with pneumonia, he\u00a0handled\u00a0the revolving door to his room very\u00a0well and was happy to see everybody.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
