Hello!  Sorry it’s been so long since I last checked in.

Not too much is new.  I’ve been doing some therapy out on the mat, as well as the usual stimming and range of motion.  Other than that, it’s business as usual.

There was a fundraiser held last night at Lititz Grace, where my dad and Gina go to church.  They said it went very well, so thank you to everybody there who participated.  I greatly appreciate it!

That’s about it for now.  I’ll try to possibly do a video tomorrow!  Good night!

KKI Is looking for Foster and adoptive parents!

KKI, or Kennedy Krieger Institute, is looking for special people for special children and teens.  Please see the link below.  I realize many of you may not be able to take on such a task, but if you could pass this information along to someone you think might, it would be greatly appreciated!  Maybe even pass along this information to your church?  Just a thought.  Thanks for lease reading!

Good evening everyone!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days – I’m still catching up on sleep and rest after a great two weeks at Kennedy Krieger.  Thanks again everyone for watching my videos, following the website and praying/thinking of me!  I still have some videos from my last day that I need a post, so I will try to do so tomorrow.  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  Thanks again for all your support.

Good evening!  Sorry but I’m not posting any videos today.  I’m very tired plus, the Pittsburgh Penguin’s game seven is on TV and has my full attention!  Montreal got off to a 4 – 0 lead, but Pittsburgh has scored twice since, so it’s still a game.GO PENS!!

I need to make a correction regarding my post from last night.  Patrick’s last name is actually Rummerfield.  Sorry about that!  For any of you that might be interested in learning a little more about him, check out this link – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pat_Rummerfield.  He’s truly an amazing man, let alone an inspiration!

My mom and Aunt Den left this evening, as my dad and Gina arrived!  I just want to say thank you to those two for all that they did while they were here.  We had a lot of fun!

That’s all for now.  Sorry again for no new videos, but I’m pooped!  Have a great night!

May 5, 2010

Good evening!  Sorry but I’m not putting up a post tonight.  I do have good news though.  I had my doctor’s appointment with my Physician at Kennedy Krieger, Dr. Receico.  He did a follow-up with me and wanted to check on my progress, if there had been any.  Turns out, there was a lot!  Within the two months that I was last at Kennedy, I’ve regained a lot of sensation and feeling below my level of injury (C3-C4).  He was very pleased with what he saw and used the word “wow” quite a bit!  Actually, today I received some of the best news yet during my recovery.  I’ve been upgraded from Asia B to Asia C!  To those of you not familiar with what this means, please reference the following link – http://www.sci-info-pages.com/levels.html.  The Asia scale is towards the bottom of the page, which will explain what this progress means.  I’m super excited about it and it’s made my great week so far, even better!

Thanks again for all your prayers and good thoughts that you send my way!  They’re paying off.
