Post from Aaron through Jaime.

Even though I can’t respond to cards, facebook, posts, emails, etc..please know Jaime or someone reads them all to me. Words can’t describe what they mean to me. I’m saving them all, and will respond when I’m physically able to. Β All your love, support, and prayers is what will get me through this. Its cliche, but please don’t take life for granted. I was guilty of complaining so many times and now it all means nothing. Be thankful for what god gave you, I know I am already. Special thanks to the greatest family, friends, and girlfriend I could ever dream of. I love you all.

Aaron, It was so good to see you on Sat. You still look quite dashing as you always have. πŸ™‚ I know you are determined and will get through this. We also believe God’s promises in his Word and He is with you everyday. I put a pin in the prayer map but it’s not showing up. Yes, I’m somewhat of a “technotard”. I’ll check it again later. πŸ™‚ Love you a ton!

Aaron, I’m thinking of you and praying for your recovery. I completely agree with your comment of not taking life for granted. My family lived through my nephew’s accident in July 2007. He is still not completely recovered, and he keeps trying. As I said in my card, “Never Give Up.” And another thing you are right about is, we absolutely have an awesome family.

Hey bro, I hope you get well soon! The Raiders and Chiefs are going to be playing soon, who else am I going to heckle about two of the worst teams in football going against each other? You know I can’t talk trash on anyone else’s team, just yours! It should be a good game though. Well dude, you just hang in there. Jenn and I have you in our prayers, and we will talk again soon I am sure. Later on.

Hey Aaron! Bob,myself, Brandon, Talia and Tara are all thinking of you and sending our prayers. Its a long road but have nothing but faith you’ll be ok. Brandon says rehab sucks but sometimes the pretty nurses are extra nice… we love you!

Amazing seems to be the word everyone is using for you, Aaron. Your work at Magee may be hard but the rewards will be great – we know you are going to come out of this amazed at yourself. Looking forward to meeting you when you are done showing Magee the tough stuff you are made of! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hey buddy, get well! There are many more fruit cups to be eaten from the vending machine. I even heard talk of tropical fruit medley, but I am suspect until I actually see it. I will save you a cup. Long live the cocktail. Talk to you later man.

Just wanted to say you make me grateful to have known such a great, strong and determined person in my life. Plus there were many days you made my day at CPC worthwhile. Of course the school wasn’t worth it. I have a computer degree and now I flip eggs for a living. Good call on college! Keep up the determination!

You are one amazing guy Aaron. Never think anything different. You are so amazing that I have quickly come to realize that I am your stalker. I stalk your facebook page, Jaime’s facebook page, your blog, I stalk and interrogate Denise everyday at work for any updates. Its really getting out of control. Nate is becoming concerned for your safety. I may just show up one day at Magee and stalk you from there — Just kidding….. (no I’m not) πŸ˜‰ WE ALL LOVE YOU AARON!! ..Still praying everyday.

    Aaron,

YOU are my favorite brother in the whole world and I know you’re my only brother in the whole world but even if I had ten, you would still be the best.

I don’t know if you remember this or not but when we were younger someone broke into Alyce’s apartment while I was there and for weeks afterward I would wake up in the middle of the night terrified that someone was outside my bedroom window. I would dart across the hall to your room in the middle of the night and you were such a hero. You never got mad, you just stumbled across the hall, grabbed my pillow and my teddy bear, threw me a blanket and let me crash in your room. You even managed to find some humor in the situation telling me, “Don’t worry Lexie, my blubber will save me from the gunshots.” (LOL) You were so very brave and such a hero.

What was true then, is truer now…

I am so very proud of you bro. It was so wonderful to see that oh so charming smile of yours this weekend and to listen to you wrestle with that trach just to crack a joke for all of us. I just know God is going to get you through this. (Isaiah 43)

Take it easy on the nurses. πŸ˜‰ I love you so much!

Jaime, you are a dynamo. Thanks for taking such good care of one of my favorite people. If there’s ANYTHING we (me & Bret) can do for your guys, just let me know.

Aaron, keep up the amazing work in your recovery and rehabilitation! Stay strong and keep your positive attitude! I’m so glad to see the wonderful, loving family and group of friends that have obviously been such a support system for you! Keep moving in a positive direction!

Love you too Bud! You are so welcome and I am looking forward to that response from you personally. Jaime, no offense…we love all that you share with us.

    Hey, Ern,
Sending word from just north of Motown to tell you how much we are thinking about you, praying for good things to happen for you, out here in this part of the world. Reading the postings has been amazing. You are sooooooo loved and cared for. Aunt Den has been keeping us posted on what’s been going on with you since the accident. I’m so grateful that she’s done that and chatted with her last weekend, too. I’m also grateful, and know from your comments that you are too, for the amazing family and friends that you have attending you all the time. Keep strong and keep smiling even when it’s hard. Say “hi” to all. I can’t remember the last time I saw your dad and spent a nice Saturday afternoon at Pap’s in July with your mom and the family. Will continue to keep informed on this site. Take care.
    Love,
    “Aunt” Puff
