Thank You

We have been amazed by the outpouring of love and support by friends, family, co-workers, classmates, church members, and people that we don’t even know. Your kind and comforting words, emails, cards, calls, and most importantly prayers have been uplifting for Aaron as well as his family. We continue to hear of people and churches from all around the country that are praying for Aaron. Please continue to pray daily as we trust God for strength and healing.
Aaron continued with his therapy today at Magee. The skill and commitment of the staff as they work with Aaron to help him meet his goals is very apparent. We look forward to each new day and the hope and progress that it brings.

    Hey Aaron,

The pictures of you are great! You are still smiling and it is truly a wonderful smile. I have to agree with your Mom though, lose the beard, your face is too darn cute. Bill and I plan to visit soon. Tell that Jamie to give you a hug from us.

    Love,

    Nat and Bill

Hey Aaron – your blog is so awesome and it is so good to be able to get on and see your updates since I am so far away. Everyone I know is praying and knowing you are getting the best care available, but most of all that you are blessed to have Jaime in your life!! She is so strong and I’m sure her positive attitude is uplifting to you. By reading the other posts, I can see you have the best support ever – so many friends and family members, and that is soooo important! Love to you and God bless!

Hi Aaron. Sure good to see you. You are in my thoughts every day ( I could say every minute of every day). When I turn on the computer you are there–either that very first picture or the one with you in Pappaw’s rocking chair with Katy next to you and she is howling or some other favorite.
You are loved by so many people and even more by God. We are all praying for you and BELIEVING in you so keep up that beautiful smile.

    Aaron,

YOU’RE BIG TIME BABY! There isn’t a person I talk to that isn’t pulling for you. We all wish you a speedy recovery. I’ve changed my life recently, in that, I’m a person of positive thinking and you my friend are on my mind everyday, and every ounce of my positive thought is being funneled to you bro. You can only go up from here buddy, it’s going to be painful, exhausting and trying, but you’re a strong man, and you have so much support and love being projecting to you, you might go into overload. You have no choice but to get better. My best wishes go to you and your family. Stay strong, dig deep and overcome.

I too am quite amazed out how many people this has brought together. My “real” Dad (that sounds so dumb… Woody is my step-dad if you want to get technical but he’s very much a real dad) has his church out in Chicago praying for Aaron and his family is praying for Aaron as well. Bret’s family and friends are all praying for Aaron and Bret’s mom Jackie got together with her colleagues at the Middle School to do “Jeans for a Cause” for Aaron’s Journey. Bret’s Aunt Vickie and her new husband Paul also surprised me with a special gift for Aaron’s Journey at their wedding. Poor Paul had to sing for it… such a good sport. 🙂 My niece, Kat-lyn on my dad’s side of the family and her adopted family are all praying for Aaron. Kat-lyn came with us to see Aaron this weekend and the first thing she said to me was, “He’s funny like his dad.” All of the love and support has just been so touching for all of us. God is really good!

I am amazed to at the outpouring love for your son, but I am not surprised. Diane and you have done a great job with Aaron. This outpouring of love is proof of that. He is such a great kid..or I guess I should say young man. He is a part of our family and has been for a long time. I know he is Brian’s friend, but my son Joe also has a lot of love for him too. He is the kind of guy, you can’t help but love. I am thankful that his parents are both believers in Christ. Know that you are all in my prayers and thoughts continuously. This accident has made a lot of us be more thankful for what we have. The Lord will use this to work in so many people’s hearts, that will truly amaze us too. Take care and God bless all of you.
