Hand Test

Jaime did a test on Aaron today! She squeezed his fingers one at a time and asked him to identify which one she was squeezing and he got it right! In case you’re wondering he had his eyes squeezed tightly closed.  🙂

Aaron is very anxious to get back to Magee to see what else he can do.  So far his tests are coming back with good results so PLEASE pray fervently that his fever will go away and stay away so he can move asap! In fact pray that NOTHING will delay his move back to Magee.

Also a side note… we were reading picture captions in Adam Taliaferro’s book (he was a Penn State football player with a similar injury and prognosis as Aaron’s and walked out of Magee in 10 weeks!) and the one showed him and his family in his room on the day he was discharged from Magee. You’ll never guess what his room number was. That’s right… 543… Aaron’s room number. Pretty cool, huh!

Hey Aaron, you’re in our thoughts and prayers 24/7. We’re so proud of you for hanging tough, working hard, and fighting the battle that you will overcome and win. “I can do everything Through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13 You are surrounded by an unbelievable amount of love and support. Even though we can’t be with you as much as we want to, we’re always with you in spirit. We’re anxious to visit you real soon. I know that good things are yet to come. You’re an inspiration to all of us. God bless you, Aaron. See you soon. We love you with all our heart. Aunt Diane and Uncle Pete

Dude, hang in there. Gina and I are praying for you to get better. Working in the insurance world without you sucks. We hope things continue to get better for you day by day. Good luck with everything regarding your treatment. Hang in there bro, we’re thing about you. – Kevin & Gina

    Aaron!
It is truly amazing to hear about all the support you’ve gotten thru prayer (and even those I tell that don’t pray all send their sympathy and get excited to hear the updates). There’s no doubt that you have a very loving and supportive family that would do anything for you–there’s nothing better than that! It’s a really terrible thing that happened, but it’s really awesome to see all the good that’s coming from it (gives meaning to “when life hands you lemons…make lemonade!”). You’ll walk out of Magee with such a great testimony to share with others. Can’t wait till that day!

    Love,

Aaron – I work with Carla and have been thinking of you ever since she told me the news of your accident. I was really down and scared for you to say the least but then she told me that you were in good spirits and scrapping hard and I thought, “That’s Aaron.” Keep scrapping, bro. I’ll send a few up to The Man Upstairs for you and check back here for updates. Stay strong.

Hi Aaron, It’s Corabeth, I worked with you at BISYS back in the day, I was on the LTC New Business team and you were in Contracting. Kevin Baker has been keeping me posted and I am so glad that this Blog was created so everyone can stay updated and send you messages of encouragement. I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and a speedy recovery. I know that you have been through so much and already are making great improvements. You are a strong individual and you are going to be walking out of room 543 before you know it. I can’t wait to hear all the great things that are going to come over the next few weeks. Keep up the great work Aaron! Sincerely, Corabeth

WOW!!! A few little things, Room 543, the Scrabble game, the fingers, they all add up to AMAZING! I think I am going to have Jim play that number everyday till you come home. You are on my mind every single day! Get better so we can help with another golf tournament and worry about getting hit with the balls on the green! How silly was that? At least we were both way off (thankfully).

  • Leana Sullivan

Aaron, I wanted to let you know that I prayed for you last night me and my mommy. I love you and can not wait till we can play again, YOU CAN DO IT I BELIEVE IN YOU. Love always Leana

“How much can you know about yourself if you’ve never been in a fight”…

Brother, we’ve been there before. I hate that I can’t be there with you for this one, but I need you to know that while I may not be there, I’m still with you, every minute of every day.

You keep on pushing and know that all you have to do is send word and I’ll be there as soon as I can.

    I love you.
    Bill

Way to go buddy!!! Just wanted to say how very proud I am of you big bro. You are so brave and I just love you so much! You bring so much joy to so many people with you’re quick wit and silly antics. The ladies that used to do massage down the hall from mom’s office came in for a visit today and the first thing they said about you was how much they liked you and how upbeat and fun you were when you worked there. Pretty much everyone that I’ve talked to that knows you or met you at some point says the same thing. You’ve got A LOT of people praying for you right now including me. Bret’s Aunt Vicki asked her daughter-in-law, Michelle to pray for you and as it turned out Vicki was the THIRD person to ask Michelle to do that. How awesome is that??? Put your trust in our unfailingly faithful God and rely on him for strength. He is ever waiting in the wings to rescue us.

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

    XOXO
